In order to get from Level and continue the storyline, you need to pick up this expansion pack for Final Fantasy XIV. There's no harm in buying it when you purchase A Realm Reborn separately , but keep in mind you must have ARR before you can install Heavensward.
It opens up three new jobs - Astrologian, Dark Knight, and Machinist, as well as a new race - the Au'Ra, which you can create a new character as right from the start, though their design isn't my style. The graphics are absolutely stunning on the PS4 and the music is no less appealing than other entries of the series.
Looking forward to continuing the story from level This is only the expansion. There are new races and new jobs with this expansion along with an amazing new story line that you won't want to miss out on.
The art in this game is awesome and so are the graphics. Party up with friends to take on tough bosses or just hang out in town or at your guild house, you can even just roam the lands and take part in events that occur all over the place. The abilities are amazing and so are the weapons, you'll be excited even more with every new ability unlock and weapons or armor discovery. There is so much content to enjoy and lot's of friends to be made with so many adventures to have.
I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves adventure and a great story to enjoy with friends! One person found this helpful. I'm an MMO veteran. I love this game, and come back to it to resub about as often as I used to go back to other old standby MMOGs. I am going to play again this month once I get my new PC built. It's the only game I have on my current very small SSD Buy it already.
But, right now, Heavensward has been nothing but a huge pain. As i've not been able to even enjoy the content. The Expansion has had a huge number of hiccups and problems since even before it's launch, and i would strongly recommend to anyone looking to buy this, to wait a few more extra weeks, until they've gotten their issue's sorted. As square support has also been lass than helpful to their players who still cannot access the new content of this expansion pack. I gave this review a 3 star as a, I can't actually give it a review that's high or low, because i've not been able to experience the expansion to the game.
Though i was tempted to rate it low based on Square's poor customer Service level, and for the fact i've now wasted almost a week of my subscription time unable to play. Literally unplayable. They use a launcher system similar to the PC on the PS4 which is extremely outdated, and has a huge issue with applying and downloading patches to many of the users globally. When downloading the mandatory patches it will always hit a certain point in the download and then crash the launcher.
This issue was on the PC and quickly resolved on the PC, but when it comes to the PS4, which is not designed for a launcher system there is no help and any support inquiries have an automated email response that has no Solutions other than your generic "did you turn it off and back on again.
There is no solution to this, they tell you to reinstall which has had zero effect, or to reformat your ps4, they tell you to call your ISP but it is not your isp's fault, they will spot a bevy of long-winded and useless so-called help that does absolutely nothing. Just Google Final Fantasy XIV won't install patches on the PS4 and you will come across over the years literally hundreds of threads with tens of thousands of users who got no effectual help.
